Victoria Spartz assumed office as the U.S. representative for Indiana's 5th Congressional District on Jan. 3, 2021. She previously served in the Indiana Senate, after being appointed in October of 2017 following the resignation of her predecessor.

Spartz was born on October 6, 1978, in Ukraine and immigrated to the Unites States in 2000. She received a Bachelor of Science in international economics and a Master of Business Administration from the National University of Economics in Ukraine, and a master's degree in professional accountancy from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. Spartz worked as a certified public account and an adjunct professor at the Kelley School of Business. She owns several financial consulting, farming and real estate businesses. Prior to her appointment to the Indiana Senate, Spartz served as CFO at the Indiana attorney general’s office.
