Biography

Susie Lee assumed office as U.S. representative for Nevada's 3rd Congressional District on Jan. 3, 2019. 

Lee was born in Canton, Ohio. She received a master's degree in public management from Carnegie Mellon University. After college, she worked at an environmental and economic consulting firm in Massachusetts specializing in water resource issues. After moving to Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1993, Lee became the founding director of the Las Vegas chapter of After-School All-Stars. She was also founding director of a homeless crisis intervention center and a founding member of a women’s investment group. Lee has also served as president of Communities In Schools of Nevada, a drop-out prevention organization.
