Susan Wild assumed office in the U.S. House of Representatives for Pennsylvania's 15th Congressional District on Nov. 27, 2018, after winning a special election to fill the remainder of Rep. Charlie Dent's term after his resignation. Wild also won the 2108 general election for that seat, which was redistricted as the 7th District.

Wild was born June 7, 1957, at Wiesbaden Air Force Base in West Germany, where her father was stationed with the U.S. Air Force. She earned a Bachelor of Arts at American University in 1978 and a Juris Doctor at the George Washington University Law School in 1982. She became a partner at the law firm Gross McGinley in 1999.

Wild ran for Lehigh County Commissioner in 2013, but lost. She was appointed the first female solicitor of Allentown, Pennsylvania, in January 2015, serving until Dec. 31, 2017, when she resigned to run for office in the U.S. House.
