Biography

Lori Trahan assumed office as U.S. representative for Massachusetts' 3rd Congressional District on Jan. 3, 2019. 

Trahan was born October 27, 1973, in Lowell, Massachusetts. She graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Arts in comparative and regional studies in international relations. 

After college, Trahan worked for U.S. Representative Marty Meehan, eventually becoming his chief of staff. In 2005, Trahan went to work for ChoiceStream, a marketing software company. She became the CEO of the Concire Leadership Institute, a small, woman-owned consulting firm.
