Kelda Roys is the CEO and founder of OpenHomes, a real estate brokerage. She was a 2018 Democratic candidate for governor of Wisconsin, but lost in the primary.

Roys was born in Marshfield, Wisconsin, on June 24, 1979. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from New York University and her Juris Doctor from University of Wisconsin, Madison. During and after law school, she worked for a variety of domestic and international law firms and as a real estate agent.

Her political career began when she won her election to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 2008. She held one four-year term and returned to her career in real estate until her campaign in the 2018 gubernatorial election.
