Katie Hill served as the U.S. representative for California's 25th Congressional District from Jan. 3, 2019, to Nov. 1, 2019.

Hill graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Masters in public administration. After college, Hill began her career at PATH (People Assisting the Homeless), a non-profit developing affordable and supportive places for people to live, eventually serving as their executive director.

In October 2019, Hill announced her resignation from Congress following the publication of a nude photograph of her and an announcement by the House Committee on Ethics that it was opening an investigation into allegations that she engaged in an improper relationship with a congressional staffer. Hill denied the relationship with the staffer, but admitted to a previous relationship with a campaign aide. The photos were supplied to the media by Hill's soon-to-be ex-husband without her consent.
