Biography

Kathy Manning served as the U.S. representative for North Carolina's 6th Congressional District from 2021-2025.

Manning was born on December 3, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Harvard University in 1978 and a J.D. from the University of Michigan in 1981. After serving as a partner at a law firm from 1987-2003, Manning started her own business in 2004. She has also held numerous leadership positions in her community.
