Biography
Karoline Leavitt has served as White House press secretary for the second Trump administration since January 2025, the youngest person to hold that position. Leavitt was born on August 24, 1998, in New Hampshire. She graduated from Saint Anselm College in 2019, earning a degree in politics and communication. A volunteer at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics during college, she began working for Fox News during the 2016 election. After graduating, she worked for former president Donald Trump and served as a presidential writer and assistant press secretary in the press office. She became a communications director for U.S. Rep Elise Stefanik after the 2020 election. She ran for election to the U.S. House to represent New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District in 2022, losing in the general election.
