Biography

Jennifer Dunn represented Washington's 8th District in the United States House of Representatives from 1993 to 2005.

Dunn was born July 29, 1941, in Seattle, Washington. She attended the University of Washington from 1960 to 1962 and completed her Bachelor of Arts in English literature from Stanford University in 1963. From 1980 to 1991, Dunn chaired the Washington State Republican Party and, from 1988 to 1991, served as vice president of Republican National Committee's executive board. From 1984 to 1990, Dunn joined the United States delegation to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.

Dunn passed away on September 5, 2007.
