Biography
Deidre Henderson has served as the lieutenant governor of Utah since 2021, winning reelection in 2024.
Henderson was born on September 4, 1975, in Taylorsville, Utah. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Brigham Young University.
Henderson worked as a campaign manager for Congressman Jason Chaffetz from 2008-2012 before launching a successful campaign for Utah’s State Senate to represent District 7 in 2013. She served in this position for eight years before being chosen by gubernatorial nominee Spencer Cox to serve as his running mate in 2020.
