Biography
Debra "Debbie" Lesko assumed office on the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors on January 6, 2025. Previously, Lesko served as a U.S. representative for Arizona's 8th Congressional District from 2018-2025.
Lesko was born on Nov. 14, 1958, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. She received a Bachelor of Arts in business from the University of Wisconsin. She moved to Arizona in the 1980s and owned a construction sales business. Lesko previously served as a member of the Arizona Senate from 2015 to 2018, serving as president pro tempore from 2017 to 2018, and in the Arizona House of Representatives from 2009 to 2015.
