Biography

Carol Miller assumed office as U.S. representative for West Virginia's 3rd Congressional District on Jan. 3, 2019. Previously, Miller served in the the West Virginia House of Delegates from 2007 to 2019. 

Miller was born Nov. 4, 1950, in Columbus, Ohio. Her father was U.S. Congressman Samuel L. Devine. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in history and political science from Columbia College in 1972. She has worked as a self-employed real estate manager since 1985 and has owned Swann Ridge Bison Farm since 1994. 

In the West Virginia House of Delegates, Miller represented District 15 from 2007 to 2013 and has represented District 16 since January 12, 2013.
