MINTER: It happens every day, behind closed doors. Domestic violence causes most homicides in Vermont and half of them involve guns. We need to keep guns away from domestic abusers and require background checks on all gun sales. Now, the gun lobby doesn't like that and I'm the candidate for governor who's willing to talk about it.
