GILLIBRAND: I know families are paying the price for a broken government in Washington. Small businesses are struggling. Property taxes and retirement costs keep rising. I have a different approach to turning this economy around. I passed tax cuts for small businesses, supported a new commitment to research and development of New York-based technologies, and voted to stop rewarding big corporations that outsource our jobs.
