HEITKAMP: Hundreds of tanker cars a day—that’s how much oil North Dakota is sending to refineries in states like Louisiana because our refinery in Mandan can’t handle it all. I’m Heidi Heitkamp and in the Senate, I’ll fight to build another refinery in North Dakota. It will create jobs and help lower gas prices. I approve this message because we’re now the second biggest oil producer in the country. We shouldn’t be watching it leave North Dakota.
