MURKOWSKI: Alaskans understand that sacrifice is necessary to defend our nation. Here in Alaska, we’re home to 25,000 active-duty guard and reserve, and to the largest number of veterans per capita in America. It’s part of what makes our state exceptional, and it’s why I fight every day to improve veteran’s healthcare, protect Alaska’s defense jobs, and strengthen our nation’s security.
