I was a single mom and worked as a waitress and bartender.
I saved money, took college classes when I could, and at 39, I graduated law school.
It was a struggle to get there, but it was worth it. Because now I’m able to help people who are struggling just like I was.
I’m running for congress because our representatives don’t understand us. They're completely disconnected from our reality.
