ANNUONCER: Human trafficking is the sale or trade of people for sex. Typically an older male targets young women, showers them with gifts, and ultimately grooms them to be sold for sex. Most people don't realize that sex trafficking is happening here in South Dakota. Kristi Noem is leading the fight against sex trafficking in two ways, raising public awareness and assisting victims of trafficking. Kristi Noem’s legislation is providing more funding, training, and resources to combat and stop human sex trafficking.
