COLLINS: Maine families are struggling with soaring gasoline and heating oil prices. To fight this crisis, we need to produce more, use less and pursue alternatives. We need to increase energy exploration to end dependence on Middle East oil. We need to develop alternatives like wind and wood, which we have in abundance in Maine.
