Shawn Graves: I was in the United States Army for thirteen years. I was hit by a suicide bomber in my chow hall. I was medically retired. The Veterans Administration was delaying my claim for benefits. I was losing my home, wasn’t able to work. I was just scraping by. I was able to contact Cathy McMorris Rodgers and she was able rectify the situation in a timely manner. It was like a big weight off my shoulders. She continues to make things happen for the veterans in this community.
