My Mother - Sep. 7, 2022

VALLEJO: My mother used to wear these earrings to work at the pulga (flea market), even when multiple sclerosis made it painful for her to move. She taught me to work hard y siempre defender la familia (and always put family first). I’m running for Congress to stand up for working people; the families trying to make ends meet at our pulga (flea market). While we struggle to pay for gas and groceries, big corporations and the wealthy keep getting richer at our expense. I’m Michelle Vallejo and I approve this message because it’s time our pueblo (town) had a voice in Congress.
